One question I always ask my dental practice clients is, “Who is responsible for human resources management at your dental office?” This question often surprises the owners of small clinics, who think they’re too small to warrant a focus in this area. No matter what size of the dental clinic you run, HR responsibilities are an important area you shouldn’t overlook. Here’s just one example of why. If no one on your dental team is on top of the latest labor laws, and you unknowingly violate these laws, the result can be a big, and often expensive, headache for you in the form of employee legal action.
